Team Ig-hr

Ig-hr was co-founded by Jennie Detheridge and Dan Wilbeck in 2021.

Our backgrounds are varied, having both worked in house HR teams and as consultants within Manufacturing, FMCG, Engineering, Logistics, Digital and Tech and Professional Services.

We know that no two organisations are the same and we bring over 20 years combined experience and skills in employee relations, workplace culture and training and development.

Why Ikigai?

Ikigai - Our business name is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Ikigai (生き甲斐) which translates to ‘reason for being’. Something that leads to fulfilment in life.

How can having a HR Consultant help my business?

Hiring an HR consultant for your business offers numerous advantages, including expert knowledge across various HR areas including employment law, cost-effectiveness through tailored services, and flexibility to address specific needs.

As your HR Consultancy we help mitigate legal risks, provide strategic guidance, and offer conflict resolution services while bringing an independent perspective to identify areas for improvement.

We can help you enhance performance through training and development, and improve the retention of your team through a number of HR and employee experience projects.

What is your pricing?

Monthly retainers start from £250 per month and are calculated based on the amount of support required.

Pay as you go support is charged at an hourly rate of £150 per hour, this can be prorated into 15 minute blocks.
‍
Project work, Coaching and Training are quoted based on the individual needs of your business.
‍
We can also provide your business with a bespoke HR foundations package which includes a contract of employment, handbook, employment policies and onboarding process for £1000.
‍
VAT is added to all pricing.

Do you support organisations outside the North West?

Yes, we support clients all across the UK.

Do you offer Leadership Development Training and Coaching?

Yes we do. Developing effective leadership is key to you achieving harmonious, high-performing teams. We can create and deliver bespoke training to fit your business needs.

Do you offer Associate work for other HR Consultancies?

Yes we do. We will provide support for other HR Consultancies for projects and to support when you have additional resource needs.

How do you help HR Teams?

We can help HR teams who require temporary additional resource to cope with an increase in workload. Or we can provide project support and guidance through our retained service.

Do you offer coaching?

Yes we do. We provide 1:1 and Group Coaching supporting Leaders, Managers, Future Leaders, High Potential Individuals and those who are wanting career and personal development opportunities.
